José Delgado Domingos - Chairman
José Delgado Domingos - Chairman

José Joaquim Delgado Domingos has a degree on Mechanical Engineering, achieved with distinction at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in 1956. He became a full Professor at IST in 1965 and became emeritus in 2005. He was visiting Professor and Senior Research Fellow at Imperial College, University of London. Chairman of Lisboa E-Nova - Agência Municipal de Energia e Ambiente since December 2007. He has more than 150 published articles in the research fields of Thermodynamics, Numerical Methods in Fluid Mechanics and Energy Transfer, Energy System Analysis, Energy and Environment Policy and Meteorological Forecast. He was responsible for the introduction of the first degrees in Informatics Engineering and Environment Engineering in Portugal (at the New University of Lisbon), and also one of the founders of the Environment Engineering degree at IST, which he directed. He is member of several international Engineering associations and an honorary member of the editorial boards of several international scientific journals.

Currently developing the Ph.D. in Institutional History and Politics at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (new university of lisbon). Graduated in History at the Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon. Degree in Art Education from the National Conservatory of Lisbon. Civic and Professional Activities: - Professor of Higher Education at Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. School of Education. - Board advisor of the Portuguese Environment Agency (Education for Sustainable Development). - Coordinator of Inter-Ministerial Group of Environmental Education for Sustainability, representing the Portuguese Environment Agency. - Former President of Interbio - Interprofessional Association of Organic Agriculture. Previous Professional Activities: - Member of the Organizing Committee of the National Conference on Arts Education, representing the Ministry of Culture. - Joined the European Network of Cultural Education, representing the Ministry of Culture. - Member of the Group of Experts on Arts Education OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States), invited in their personal capacity. - Principal Technical Advisor (Environment) - Permanent Representative of Portugal in the European Union, Brussels (1996/1999). - Member of the Interministerial Group for Arts Education, representing the Ministry of Education (1995/1996). - Representative of the Orient Foundation, in the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Marine Sciences and Environment, University of Algarve. Political Activity (brief): - Member of Parliament (Legislatures IV, V, VIII and IX). - Member of the Parliamentary Committee of Environment, Education, European Affairs, among others. - Member of the Delegation of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe), on behalf of Parliament. Vice-Chairman of the Committee of Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment of the OSCE. - MEP (1989-1994). President of the European Greens. - Honorary Member of the European Parliament. - Member of GLOBE (International Association of Environmental Legislators). In December 2009 she was appointed by the Lisbon Municipality to be Administrator of the Lisboa E-Nova – Agência Municipal de Energia e Ambiente.

Filipa Cabral Sacadura - General Secretary
Filipa Cabral Sacadura - General Secretary

In 1994 finished her degree in History at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, University of Lisbon. Her professional experience has begun at ARQUIVARIUS- archives and documentation management - dealing with documentary archives. In May 1999, was admitted at the Urban Observatory of the Atlantic Axis Foundation in Oporto, where she took the role as team coordinator for the social–cultural project area, also dealing with promotion and information to members, Media and general public about the several services offered by the Foundation. In January 2003, she worked for TEXTO EDITORA Publishers and at the same time attended Post-Graduate Studies in Urban Cultural management at the Institute for the Development of Enterprise Management of the Higher Institute for Business and Labour Studies (Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa – ISCTE). Works at Lisboa E-Nova since September 2004, assuming the coordination for the communication and information of all the projects. In January 2010 start functions of General Secretary of the Agency, giving advice to the Board of Directors, maintaining the coordination of services and the general area of communication.

Miguel Águas - Technical and Financial Director
Miguel Águas - Technical and Financial Director

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering (IST - Instituto Superior Técnico/Technical University of Lisbon) in 1984, concluding, five years later, the Master of Transfer and Energy Conversion at IST. In 1998 presented his Ph.D. thesis in Mechanical Engineering at IST, approved with Honors and Distinction. Specialized in the field of energy issues, his work has always been associated with the use of energy. Between 2004 and 2008 has Director Geral of IBERDROLA II, developing a strong commercial activity and coordination of sales personnel, enabling you to achieve a 15% share in the liberalized market of electricity in Portugal. In addition, he created at IBERDROLA the area of energy efficiency, where important projects were developed, namely in the economical groups Amorim and Portugal Telecom, besides several projects approved by  the PPEC Program, sponsored by the ERSE. He is Professor at postgraduate teaching activities in Sustainable Energy, promoted by IST in collaboration with MIT - Portugal. In January 2010 he started working as technical director in the projects developed by Lisboa E-Nova and is also responsible for managing the Agency's financial.

Francisco Gonçalves
Francisco Gonçalves

Graduated by the School of Engineering of the Lisbon Technical University in Environmental Engineering. He has gathered until now a relevant international experience, mainly focused in Central and Eastern Europe, both at an academic and professional level, from a one-year scholarship at the Wageningen University, in the Netherlands, a collaboration with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe, in Czech Republic to an internship at the engineering and environment consulting company Consulgal – Consultores em Engenharia e Gestão, S.A. in Budapest, from October 2007 to August 2008. During his professional experience, he gathered skills in the following areas both at a public and private level: transport management, water resources modelling and management, urban solid waste, sustainability, air quality and environmental management. Furthermore, he was involved in projects, which were applicants to Structural and Cohesion Funds. Works for Lisboa E-Nova as project manager and coordinator for urban management and energy efficiency projects, since February 2009.

Nuno Cegonho
Nuno Cegonho

Graduated by the School of Engineering of the Lisbon Technical University in Environmental Engineering. Started his collaboration with the DEENMA in 2004, where he performed until 2010 Project Management functions, particularly in the development and licensing of power generation projects, both in the production area under the ordinary regime (including thermal and combined cycle plants and large hydroelectric plants) as the area of special regime production (wind farms, solar photovoltaic and thermoelectric plants, and mini hydro plants). Fluent in English and Spanish, has completed the Advanced Management Program and Project Evaluation of the Portuguese Catholic University in 2009 and since December 2010 is certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) by Project Management Institute (PMI). In March 2010 he began his collaboration with Lisboa E-Nova, working as a coordinator and technical manager of projects, including collaborating in the update of the Lisbon Energy Matrix and several associated projects within the Energy and Environmental Strategy for Lisbon and Covenant of Mayors.

Luísa Magalhães de Almeida
Luísa Magalhães de Almeida

Graduated in Environmental Engineering at the Catholic University of Portugal – School of Biotechnology and developed a Master of Science in Environmental Diagnostics at Cranfield University, United Kingdom. Apart from her academic background, she carried out a four months training at Cockburn & Smithes Co. S.A, where she developed the project of the Master of Science, entitled: “Biological Systems for Port Wine Producer Effluent Treatment”. This training resulted from a partnership between School of Biotechnology and Cranfield University. In September 2002, she was admitted at the Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, SA, where she was involved in several national and international projects in fields related with innovation, entrepreneurship, e-learning, agriculture and environment. In March 2004, she was appointed Assessor of the Deputy Mayor of Lisbon City Council responsible for urban hygiene and solid waste treatment. Works for Lisboa E-Nova, since October 2005 and is responsible for performing technical support on intervention, communication and information projects.

Diana Henriques
Diana Henriques

Graduated in Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL) (in the sanitary sector) in 2003. Completed the Postgraduated Study in Human Ecology and Contemporary Social Problems in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where she is currently finishing the Master in this area. After graduation, she developed a traineeship at Ydreams and did research in the Group of Analysis and Environmental Systems (FCT-UNL) and in the Portuguese Geographic Institute. In 2005, she started an internacional experience in terms of research - at the Vrije Universiteit; traineeship in the company Geodan (Netherlands); and at associative in environmental level, mainly in communication and research - For Mother Earth Observatory in Belgium and la Deuda en la Globalización tion in Catalunia. After returning to Portugal in 2008, developed work in the area of waste, with GEOTA - Study Group on Urban Planning and Environment. In June 2010 started her activity in Lisboa E-Nova, working in project management in the area of Education for Sustainable Development, such as in the exhibition "Era uma vez a Terra."

Marta Peixinho
Marta Peixinho

Graduated in Marketing and Advertising from IADE, Institute of Visual Arts, Design and Marketing in 1995. During graduation, she did a traineeship at Johnson Wax, in the marketing department. In 1993, she was as manager of accounts in STVA, enterprise of value-added services. In the year she graduated, she joined the marketing department of the Central de Cervejas, where she worked as a trainee and later as manager of product. In 2000 belonged to Elite Portugal team. Between April 2002 and September 2010, worked as an Account at Mediaway, organization of events, communications and marketing company. In January 2011 starts the collaboration with the Lisboa E-Nova, performing technical duties in support of the communications department.

Lina Abrantes
Lina Abrantes

With more than 20 years of experience in Management and Administrative Assistance, holds a Bachelor Degree in Administration, from the Administration and Languages Institute, in Lisbon. She started her career with secretariat tasks at the Commercial Direction at IPETEX, where she developed international contacts, regarding trading matters. She has also worked as public relations and budget controller in the television industry, collaborated for 2 TV channels (RTP and TVI). Works for Lisboa E-Nova as an Administrative Assistant, since May 2004.

Sandra Deus
Sandra Deus

Sandra is specialized in Management Support and Assistance, having successfully attended the respective Training Course at the Employment and Vocational Training Institute, in Setúbal. Her professional experience was started in 2005, with an internship at the company Pluriccop and later as an Administrative Assistant with secretariat tasks at Portucel. Works for Lisboa E-Nova as an Administrative Assistant, since April 2007.

João Miguel Gameiro
João Miguel Gameiro

In September 2007 completes the course in Multimedia Technology at Secondary School Rainha D. Leonor. In November 2007 contributed to the Veigas Imobiliária in the function of Processes Manager. In 2007 took the course in Real Estate Agent, having successfully passed the examination of Real Estate (INCI). In June 2009 started a traineeship with the Lisboa E-Nova, with a duration of 12 months under the Employment and Vocational Training Institute.
